5th graders learned this week about some of the top medical innovations of the past 100 years. They went on a fact-finding mission to learn details about four of these - MRI, artificial heart, robotic surgery and bionic prosthesis. They went through the decision-making process to determine which one of the innovations is the most valuable. Ask your child which one they selected and what criteria they used to make the decision. To explain their decision-making, students either generated a newspaper clipping or created a Flipgrid. https://flipgrid.com/dcaeb6
4th graders compared and contrasted two American heroes, Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. They were so excited to create their own BrainPop movies to show what they learned.
